January Quick Update

Winter is my favorite time of year!  J/K but I do like snow, hot chocolate and sledding.  Which we did with the Toronto’s Sariah & Jacob were both here with their families. (Sam’s cousins) It was fun, someday I may even get the pictures off the camera and sent out, but since I haven’t done Christmas pictures yet, don’t hold your breath.  We had a quick trip which we thought would be a vacation, we went up to Page, Kayenta & Tuba City.  My brother Tyler took 3rd at the Page Wrestling Tournament.  I visited a few CellularOne stores.  It was fast and furious.  Mmm, Sam is facing budget cuts at school, we doubt he will lose his job but he is not tenured yet so that is a possibility.  Tell your congressman to stop cutting education!   Work is busy for me, which is good.  Jaydee can count and identify some letters, she is not overly interested in writing but she is really improving her coloring.  Last Sunday in church Jaydee had her first tithing envelope ready.  I was giving her an example I thought she would understand about why to pay tithing, "It's so we can have lights in Church."  "We already do have lights!"  she said. Hyrum learned to roll over this month, he was trying to roll and I was cheering him on but he fell back and lost interest.  I got busy doing something and then heard a thump!  Jaydee looked up and said I am helping him roll!  Hyrum LOVES real food.  He is too young for most food but he disagrees and begs for burritos or anything else that you are eating.  He likes most of the stuff we feed him but it has to be really puréed. He is miserable with his teeth trying to come in, but Tylenol and chew toys help that. Hope all is well with you and your families.
