I am thankful for fun little tools that help you budget and watch your expenses: QuickenOnline http://quicken.intuit.com/online-banking-finances.jsp You can view your credit cards, student loans, multiple bank accounts, savings etc all in one place.  I knew how much debt I had but when this little program added it all up for me, I was amazed at how suddenly I wanted to get it paid off. I was excited to see those balances drop. It has been slow, but we finally paid off the remodeling of our house.  YEAH!  And I’ll have the student loans paid off in a few months.  So I am grateful to Quicken, which by the way it really is FREE!  (That is for Ben, he didn’t believe Melinda that it was free.)  We decided last year to get serious about paying off debt, but we would spend the money on things we “needed.”  So I am glad for persistence and that we are moving towards our goal of being debt free.
