I finished and I really enjoyed it. One thing I try not to do is to decide what I do/don't want to happen in a series. I am impressed with Stephanie Meyer because she has actually had 5 books published. It is difficult just to finish the first novel. Also her writing style has improved. This was a good series, but I hope she writes a sequel or two for The Host. I was also glad when the story moved a bit beyond the lovey dovey and gave some interesting history on vampires/werewolves etc. Overall, it was enjoyable and that is all I ask of a book. I hope the movie is good.
