On the spirit of sharing the good the bad and the ugly about my life. I want to share something that was all of the above. Sunday night was a horrid night, I threw up and was up 1/2 the night. Jaydee had a slight fever (99.1) but she has had seizures at lower temperatures, so on top of feeling horrible I was also worrying about Jaydee and feeling like a terrible mom because she was sick. No seizures but I woke up feeling awful on Monday. I went to work and just felt terrible. I finally went home at noon and tried the rest of the afternoon to get comfortable and keep something in my belly. My dear sister made me chicken noodle soup and rolls, which tasted wonderful. Then Sam gave me a blessing that night. I slept all night!!! This is truly a miracle when you are 9 months along and wake up often to get comfortable. I have also had a few contractions so I am trying to be very careful for the next two weeks. I am not sure if this little guy will stay in that long, but I am going to do everything I can do to make sure he doesn't come early because I really don't want to watch my baby be on oxygen again.
So beyond my wonderful sister and husband who take such good care of me, I really am grateful for this baby, but I honestly can't wait to be finished being pregnant. I also am thankful for my mother in law who came over and took Jaydee home for a couple of hours to play. It is such a blessing to have a grandmother who lives so close and can do that with Jaydee. I am so grateful for all the grandparents that Jaydee has and how much they love her.
I read the article about Samuel Smith in the Ensign. A mob carried his wife outside on a mattress with her newborn baby and the two toddlers were carried out also, then the mob set fire to her home. Samuel was away trying to find a wagon to move the family. I am just in awe of those early Saints who suffered so much. I can not even imagine the terror and helplessness you would feel being attacked that way.
I really have been a bum lately, but I am trying to remember my sister's council "You have the most important job of all!" (carrying the baby). Her mother in law told her that. So to close this random blog, I am grateful for the ups and downs in my life. The hard times make me appreciate the wonderful times that we are given.

Motherhood is amazing, isn't it? We just get a little peek into some of the feeling Heavenly Father has for us as his children, the good, the bad and the painful. Good job to Sam and your sister for helping you out. Get all the sleep you can now before the baby comes. You know how much it'll change...
It's Toni, if it makes you feel any better, I had Grant 3 and a half weeks early and he didn't have to go on oxygen or anything and the same with my cousin and one of my good friends! I hope all goes well though! Congratulations!
